Birch Hills at World’s End, my novel of youth and imagined apocalypse, is available through Vagabondage Press. My work has appeared in Great Lakes Review, Midwestern Gothic, Thuglit, Knee-Jerk Magazine, Hypertext, Rock & Roll is Dead: Dark Tales Inspired by Music, and elsewhere. For many years, I served as an editor for Blood Bound Books, with whom I edited the Night Terrors III horror anthology and numerous novels (BleakWarrior, The River Through the Trees, and others). I have taught various courses on writing and storytelling at Columbia College Chicago and Tribeca Flashpoint College.
An avid fan of horror films and a collector of vintage black-light posters, I live in Chicago and don’t plan on leaving. Currently, I work in the eLearning industry, writing and developing online training, games, and simulations.
