About Me

Birch Hills at World’s End, my novel of youth and imagined apocalypse, is available through Battered Suitcase Press. I also serve as an acquisitions editor for Blood Bound Books, an independent publisher. My work has appeared or is forthcoming in Midwestern Gothic, Knee-Jerk Magazine, Temenos, Night Terrors: An Anthology of Horror, Rock & Roll is Dead: Dark Tales Inspired by Music, and elsewhere. I have been a staff writer, editorial assistant, bookseller, activist, liquor store clerk, heavy metal guitarist, factory worker, and always a gentleman.

I live in Chicago, but grew up in a place between Detroit and nowhere. You can read my blog here.
